Solutions to Enhance Awareness and Responsibility of Heads of Units According to the Program on Economizing and Combating Wastefulness - What Are the Regulations?

Based on Section 1, Chapter III of the Program on Practicing Thrift and Combating Wastefulness for the 2021 - 2025 period (issued in conjunction with Decision 1930/QD-BTTTT in 2021), which stipulates solutions for raising awareness, particularly the responsibility of the heads according to the program on practicing thrift, combating wastefulness for the 2021 - 2025 period as follows:

Executing well the Program on Practicing Thrift and Combating Wastefulness for the 2021 - 2025 period and specific annual plans will establish a crucial premise for organizing the execution of the economic-social development plan of the Information and Communication sector annually and for the 2021 - 2025 period.

Raising awareness, particularly the responsibility of the heads in Practicing Thrift and Combating Wastefulness

Identify Practicing Thrift and Combating Wastefulness as a regular duty of the unit; widely propagate to each official and public employee under the scope of management to enhance legal understanding and raise awareness of Practicing Thrift and Combating Wastefulness.

Strengthen information dissemination and the popularization of the law on Practicing Thrift and Combating Wastefulness through mass media, with a particular focus on updating documents related to Practicing Thrift and Combating Wastefulness, such as: the Law on Practicing Thrift and Combating Wastefulness; Decree No. 84/2014/ND-CP dated September 08, 2014, of the Government of Vietnam; Circular No. 188/2014/TT-BTC dated December 10, 2014, of the Ministry of Finance; Decision No. 1845/QD-TTg dated November 02, 2021, of the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam issuing the Government's overall program on practicing thrift and combating wastefulness for the 2021-2025 period.

Integrate the content of Practicing Thrift and Combating Wastefulness with implementing “Learning and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style”; the Resolution of the 4th Plenum of the 11th Central Committee on “certain urgent issues regarding currently building the Communist Party”; and the Resolution of the 4th Plenum of the 12th Central Committee on “strengthening the building and rectification of the Communist Party; preventing and reversing the degradation in ideology, politics, morality, lifestyle, and the manifestations of ‘self-evolution’ and ‘self-transformation’ within the Party.”
