Shall individuals awarded the second-class Anti-American Resistance Medal of Vietnam receive a lump-sum allowance?
According to the provisions of Article 1 of Decree 58/2019/ND-CP stipulating the allowance and preferential subsidies for those who have made contributions to the revolution, the standard subsidy level will be determined. To be specific:
“Article 1. Standard level to determine the allowance and preferential subsidies for those who have made contributions to the revolution and the level of allowance, subsidy
The standard level to determine the allowance and preferential subsidies for those who have made contributions to the revolution under the regulations of this Decree is 1,624,000 VND.
The allowance and preferential subsidies for those who have made contributions to the revolution include:
a) The allowance and preferential subsidies for those who have made contributions to the revolution according to Appendix I issued together with this Decree;
b) The injury allowance for war invalids, people receiving policies as war invalids according to Appendix II issued together with this Decree;
c) The injury allowance for war invalids type B according to Appendix III issued together with this Decree.”
As stipulated in Section 7 Table C Appendix I, there is a lump-sum preferential subsidy as follows:

Thus, in your case, you will receive a lump-sum subsidy of 1,000,000 VND.
