Principles of Fundraising and Receiving Donations for the Vietnam Social Security Support Fund for Programs and Projects

In Clauses 1, 2, and 3 of Article 17 of the Charter of the Vietnam Social Security Support Fund for Programs and Projects issued with Decision 434/QD-BNV in 2022, the principles of fundraising and receiving donations for the Vietnam Social Security Support Fund for Programs and Projects are specified as follows:

  1. Fundraising and soliciting contributions in terms of money, in-kind items, and efforts from individuals and organizations must be carried out on a voluntary basis. The Fund shall not impose a minimum donation requirement on individuals or organizations.

  2. The solicitation, receipt, management, and usage of money and in-kind items from individuals and organizations for the Fund must be transparent, publicly accounted for, and subjected to inspection, audits, and supervision according to legal regulations.

  3. The contents of fundraising and receiving donations must be transparent and public, including: the objectives of the fundraising and donations; the results of the fundraising and donations; the use, results of the use, and the settlement report.

Forms of Public Disclosure for Fundraising and Receiving Donations for the Vietnam Social Security Support Fund for Programs and Projects

In Clause 4 of Article 17 of the Charter of the Vietnam Social Security Support Fund for Programs and Projects issued with Decision 434/QD-BNV in 2022, the forms of public disclosure for fundraising and receiving donations for the Vietnam Social Security Support Fund for Programs and Projects are specified as follows:

  1. Forms of public disclosure include:

a) Public posting at the Fund's headquarters, donation reception locations, on the Fund's website (if available), and notifying support recipients.

b) Announcements in mass media.

c) Providing information upon the request of agencies, organizations, and individuals in accordance with legal regulations.
