Hosting International Conferences and Seminars: Procedures and Implementation

Pursuant to Article 6 of Decision 06/2020/QD-TTg (effective from April 15, 2020) stipulating the hosting of international conferences and seminars as follows:

- If the organizing unit needs to obtain approval to host an international conference or seminar, the organizing unit and the authority of the competent person shall carry out the approval request according to the process and authority stipulated in Article 3 and Article 5 of this Decision.

- The approval request dossier needs to state the reason, purpose, theme, expected participants, and anticipated funding source.

- After obtaining approval from the competent authority, the organizing unit is responsible for developing the scheme for organizing and seeking permission from the competent authority to conduct the international conference or seminar as stipulated in Article 4 of this Decision.
