Pursuant to Subsection II.3.3.3, Section D of Official Dispatch 938/BKHCN-KHTC in 2023 stipulating tasks of preventing infringements of rights in the digital environment as follows:
The field of intellectual property
- Request ministries and central agencies to implement the following tasks:
+ Propagate and raise awareness about intellectual property in order to encourage innovation; build a sense of respect for intellectual property rights, forming a culture of intellectual property in society;
+ Train and guide the protection of intellectual property rights abroad; improve the capacity of exploitation and management of intellectual property for enterprises and, scientific and technological organizations;
+ Implement programs and activities to protect and prevent infringements of rights in the digital environment.
- Request the People's Committees of provinces and cities to implement the following activities:
+ Registration of intellectual property protection for key products abroad;
+ Protection, management and development of intellectual property for domestic agricultural products associated with registration of planting area codes, quality control and origin of protected products.
Thus, implementing programs and activities to protect and prevent infringements of rights in the digital environment is one of the tasks of ministries and central agencies to perform.
