04 Methods of Technology Transfer
According to the provisions of current law, technology transfer is the transfer of ownership rights of technology or the transfer of the right to use technology from the party with the right to transfer technology to the recipient party.
Article 6 of the Law on Technology Transfer 2017 stipulates that technology transfer can be carried out in the following methods:
- Transfer of technology documents.
- Training the technology recipient to master and control the technology within the agreed timeframe.
- Assigning technical consulting experts to assist the technology recipient in implementing and operating the technology to achieve agreed-upon product quality and progress indicators.
- Transferring machinery and equipment along with one of the following technologies:
+ Technical know-how, technological secrets;
+ Technological plans, processes; solutions, parameters, drawings, technical diagrams; formulas, computer software, data information;
+ Solutions for production rationalization, technology innovation;
In addition to the above transfer methods, parties can mutually agree to additional methods that suit their own conditions.
