- Written request from the subscriber, with confirmation from the direct management agency or organization, in cases where the private key is compromised or suspected to be compromised; the device storing the private key is damaged, lost, or in other cases of compromised security.
- Written request from the prosecuting agency, police agency.
- Written request from the direct management agency or organization.

- Expiration of the specialized digital signature certificate for official use.
- Written request from the subscriber, with confirmation from the direct management agency or organization, in cases where the private key is compromised or suspected to be compromised; the device storing the private key is damaged, lost, or in other cases of compromised security.
- Written request from the prosecuting agency, police agency.
- Written request from the direct management agency or organization.
- Individual changes their position where the information about the new position is not suitable with the information in the specialized digital signature certificate for official use.
- Individual retires, ceases employment, or passes away.

- Dissolution, division, or merger of the agency or organization.

- Written request from the prosecuting agency, police agency.
- Written request from the direct management agency or organization.
- Cessation of operation of the device, service, or software.

Based on Article 19 of Decree 68/2024/ND-CP, the file, procedures, and sequence for revoking specialized digital signature certificates for official use are as follows:

1. The file for revoking specialized digital signature certificates for official use includes one of the following documents:
a) Written request for revoking specialized digital signature certificates for official use from the direct management agency or organization.
b) Written request for revoking specialized digital signature certificates for official use from the prosecuting agency, police agency.
2. The sequence and procedures for revoking specialized digital signature certificates for official use are as follows:
a) The direct management agency or organization submits a written request for revoking specialized digital signature certificates for official use using Form 05 attached to this Decree to the organization providing the service of authenticating specialized digital signatures.
b) Within 01 working day from the date of receiving the request for revoking specialized digital signature certificates for official use, the organization providing the service of authenticating specialized digital signatures must invalidate the specialized digital signature certificates for official use and announce the revocation of the specialized digital signature certificates for official use on the electronic information page of the organization providing the service of authenticating specialized digital signatures. At the same time, they must notify the direct management agency or organization in writing.
