What is the service life of a 04-seat car in Vietnam?
According to the provisions of Article 5 in Circular 21/2010/TT-BGTVT, buses that have up to 09 seats are not subject to regulation on service life in Vietnam.
==> Thus, under the above regulation, a 04-seat car is not subject to the regulation on service life. Although there is no service life specified for 04-seat cars, these cars still need to undergo periodic inspection according to the regulations in Circular 70/2015/TT-BGTVT:

According to the provisions at Point c, Clause 4, Point e, Clause 5, Article 16 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP:
- A fine ranging from 2,000,000 VND to 3,000,000 VND shall be imposed for operating a vehicle with certificate of technical and environmental safety or stamp of technical and environmental safety (if required) that has expired for less than 01 month (including those for trailers and semi-trailer);
- A fine ranging from 4,000,000 VND to 6,000,000 VND shall be imposed for operating a vehicle without a certificate of technical and environmental safety or stamp of technical and environmental safety (if required, except for temporarily registered vehicles) or with one that has expired for 01 month or more (including those for trailers and semi-trailer) and the driving license shall be revoked from 01 month to 03 months.
==> If you do not apply for the vehicle inspection on time, you will be administratively fined according to the above regulations.
