In sub-detail 2.7, Section 2, Sub-section I, Section B, Appendix I issued with Decision 777/QD-CHK in 2023, in order to become a senior passenger cabin safety specialist, one must meet the training and qualification standards. Skills are as follows:
(1) Training level:
- Have a university degree or higher in one of the following majors and majors: Information, radar, aviation engineering, aircraft engineering, electronics and telecommunications, information technology, automation and a high school diploma in one of the CNS majors or higher.
- Flight attendant certificate approved or recognized by the Vietnam Aviation Administration;
- Advanced diploma in political theory or advanced degree in political - administrative theory or a certificate of political theory level equivalent to advanced political theory from a competent agency.
(2) Skills:
- Ensure requirements and conditions of senior specialist rank according to regulations.
- Have basic information technology skills.

- Regarding training level: Have a university diploma or higher.
- Other conditions required:
+ Ensure the requirements and conditions of the specialist rank according to regulations
+ Have basic information technology skills
+ Have foreign language skills equivalent to level 2 of the Vietnamese foreign language competency framework.
- Regarding capacity framework:
+ Firmly grasp the Party's policies and guidelines, and the State's legal policies in specialized fields within the agency's functions and tasks

What are duties of the position of Passenger Cabin Safety Specialist at the Vietnam Aviation Administration?
In sub-detail 2.9, Section 2, Sub-section I, Section B, Appendix I, Decision 777/QD-CHK in 2023, passenger cabin safety specialists of the Vietnam Aviation Administration must perform the following tasks:
- Participate in researching, developing, and proposing: Legal documents, topics, schemes, projects, plans, scientific research programs on passenger cabin safety according to the functions and tasks of the department.
- Implement: Professional tasks and specialized operations on passenger cabin safety; synthesize strategies, planning, plans, institutions and policies on passenger compartment safety.
- Participate in the development of regulations, processes, standards, regulations, and legal documents on aircraft passenger compartment safety.
- Participate in the issuance, approval, recognition, renewal, and supervision of aircraft operators.
- Participate in supervising the aircraft operator's work to ensure passenger cabin safety.
- Participate in granting, approving, renewing, checking, monitoring activities, and evaluating flight attendant skills.
- Participate in the investigation of incidents related to aircraft passenger compartment safety.
