How are the regulations for the crossing signs with railway barriers stipulated?
Regulations on the sign "Intersection with a railway with a barrier"
Appendix B of QCVN 41:2019/BGTVT specifies as follows:
C.10 Sign No. W.210 "Intersection with a railway with a barrier"
To give advance notice of an upcoming intersection between a road and a railway where there is a full or half barrier and traffic is controlled by railway personnel, place Sign No. W.210 "Intersection with a railway with a barrier".
What about the sign "Intersection with a railway without a barrier" and the sign "Intersection with a tramway"?
Appendix B of QCVN 41:2019/BGTVT specifies as follows:
C.11 Sign No. W.211a "Intersection with a railway without a barrier" and Sign No. W.211b "Intersection with a tramway"
a) To give advance notice of an upcoming intersection between a road and a railway without a barrier and without traffic controllers, place Sign No. W.211a "Intersection with a railway without a barrier".
b) In case there are segments where the road and railway share the same path, such as a shared bridge, place either Sign No. W.210 or W.211a depending on the presence or absence of a barrier.
c) Where Sign No. W.211a is placed, additionally place Sign No. W.242(a,b) "Place where a railway intersects perpendicularly with the road" 10 meters from the outer rail of the railway.
