Hanoi National University plans to organize 6 rounds of Thinking Skills Assessment from March 23 to June 2, 2025, across 19 exam locations. The 6 rounds of Thinking Skills Assessment in 2025 of Hanoi National University are as follows:
Batch 501: Exam dates March 15 - March 16, 2025
Batch 502: Exam dates March 29 - March 30, 2025
Batch 503: Exam dates April 12 - April 13, 2025
Batch 504: Exam dates April 19 - April 20, 2025
Batch 505: Exam dates May 10 - May 11, 2025
Batch 506: Exam dates May 17 - May 18, 2025
[2] Thinking Skills Assessment of Ho Chi Minh City National University
Ho Chi Minh City National University plans to organize the Thinking Skills Assessment in two sessions, on March 30 and June 1.
The Thinking Skills Assessment of Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2025 includes 120 multiple-choice questions with a time allocation of 150 minutes, conducted on paper.
[3] SPT Exam of Hanoi University of Education
On November 22, 2024, Hanoi University of Education announced the plan for the SPT Exam - an independent competency assessment exam for 2025.
The competency assessment examination period for Hanoi University of Education in 2025 is from May 17 - May 18, 2025. The results of the SPT exam are only valid for regular university admission in the 2025 enrollment year.

Starting in 2025, the specialized competency assessment exam will continue with tests in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, and English with an expanded scale not only serving the admission work of the School but also for other universities like:

- Industrial University
- Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine

The content knowledge used to assess the competency of candidates mentioned in the tests will closely follow the General Education Program 2018, whereby the content knowledge in grade 12 comprises approximately 70-80%, with the remainder from grade 10 and 11 programs.
In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education plans to organize multiple competency assessment sessions in Ho Chi Minh City, Long An, Da Nang, Gia Lai.

What are the responsibilities of candidates when registering options at universities in Vietnam?
According to Clause 1, Article 23 of the University Admission Regulation, college admission in preschool education issued together with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT on the responsibilities of candidates when registering options for university admission in Vietnam:
- Carefully learn admission information of training institutions, do not register for options to those sectors, training programs, or admission methods that do not meet their qualifications;
- Provide complete and ensure the accuracy of all registration information for admission, including personal information, locality information, priority subjects (if any), registered options; the authenticity of supporting documents;
- Agree to allow the training institution one is applying to use necessary information and data for admission purposes;
- Complete payment of admission fees before concluding the registration procedure.
