Is it permissible for students in Vietnam to dye their hair?
Currently, on social networks, I know that some upper secondary schools do not allow students to dye their hair. Specifically, students who dye their hair will be forced to dye their hair black again. Will they be disciplined?
Answer:

1. Disrespect the dignity, honor or bodily integrity of teachers, officials and staff of their schools, other people and other students.
2. Act dishonestly in learning, examinations or admission process.
3. Buy, sell or use alcohol, tobacco, drugs, other stimulants, firecrackers or explosives.
4. Use mobile phones and other devices in class for purposes other than learning and without the teacher's permission.
5. Fight or disrupt public or school order or security.
6. Use or exchange cultural products that incite violence or contain indecent materials; use toys or play games that impede their own healthy development.

In Vietnam: Is it against the law for making students carry out writing lines 1000 times?
I was in grade 11. As my answer was wrong, the teacher forced me to copy the formula 500-1000 times. I couldn't copy it all because it was too much. Is it against the law for making students carry out writing lines 1000 times?
Answer:
Pursuant to Clause 2 Article 38 of the lower secondary school, upper secondary school and multi-level school charter issued together with the Circular 32/2020/TT-BGDĐT stipulating as follows:
Students making a mistake during the learning and training process shall be corrected or disciplined in the following ways:
- Give the student a reminder, directly support them in correcting their mistake.
- Reprimand the student, inform the student’s parent(s) to have the parent(s) cooperate in supporting the student in correcting their mistake.
- Suspend the student’s study at school for a definite period and take other correcting measures according to regulations from the Ministry of Education and Training.
Thus, the above provisions for the disciplinary forms of high school students do not mention about writing lines. Therefore, your teacher asks you to copy 1000 times of the formula, which is against the regulations.
However, in practice, many teachers still apply this form of punishment on students, so that students can learn to gain experience. Therefore, you can find your monitor teacher for support or talk to the School Board to resolve this issue.
Best regards!
