In the Coming Time, Increase Lunchtime Support for Preschool Children

Clause 2, Article 7 of Decree 105/2020/ND-CP (Effective from November 1, 2020) stipulates the lunch allowance for kindergarten children as follows:

Children subject to the provisions of Clause 1 of this Article are granted a lunch allowance of 160,000 VND/child/month. The support period is based on the actual number of study months, but not exceeding 9 months per school year.

Meanwhile, pursuant to Clause 1, Article 4 of Decree 06/2018/ND-CP currently in effect, the lunch allowance is 10% of the statutory pay rate/child/month. The current statutory pay rate is 1,490,000 VND/month. Therefore, the current lunch allowance is 149,000 VND/child/month.

Thus, in the upcoming period, the lunch allowance for kindergarten children has increased compared to the current regulation.
