Where to Submit Applications for Re-Evaluation of the High School Graduation Exam?
According to Clauses 1 and 2, Article 33 of the High School Graduation Exam Regulations issued with Circular 15/2020/TT-BGDDT, the following are stipulated:
Re-Evaluation of Exam Papers
1. All candidates have the right to request a re-evaluation of their exam papers; candidates must submit their re-evaluation applications at the place of registration.
- The place where candidates registered will receive re-evaluation applications within 10 days from the announcement of exam results and transfer the data of candidates who requested re-evaluation to the Exam Council. Within 15 days from the end of the re-evaluation application period, the Exam Council must announce and notify the re-evaluation results to the candidates.

Guidelines for the Simplest Re-Evaluation of High School Graduation Exam Papers in 2024?
Based on Appendix 1 of the preparation and organization plan for the 2024 high school graduation exam issued with Official Dispatch 1277/BGDDT-QLCL in 2024, the following are stipulated:
- Announcement of exam results: At exactly 8:00 AM on July 17, 2024.
- Receiving re-evaluation applications and creating a re-evaluation list: From July 17 to the end of July 26, 2024.
- Transfer re-evaluation data to the Department of Education and Training/Exam Council: Completed no later than July 27, 2024.
- Organize the re-evaluation of exam papers (if any): Completed no later than August 4, 2024.
- Recognize high school graduation after re-evaluation: Completed no later than August 9, 2024.
The period for receiving re-evaluation applications and creating a re-evaluation list is from July 17 to the end of July 26, 2024.
The steps for re-evaluating the 2024 high school graduation exam scores are detailed in Section 3, Part 2, Decision 1584/QD-BGDDT of 2021, as follows:

Step 1: Candidates taking the High School Graduation Exam submit re-evaluation applications at the place of registration within 10 days from the announcement of exam results.
Step 2: The place of registration sends the data of candidates requesting re-evaluation to the Department of Education and Training.
Step 3: The Department of Education and Training transfers the data of candidates requesting re-evaluation to the Exam Council for implementation.
Step 4: The scores of the exam papers adjusted after the re-evaluation are decided by the Head of the Re-Evaluation Committee and updated into the exam management software system according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Step 5: Announce the re-evaluation results to the candidates.

The candidate's scores after re-evaluation are updated into the exam management software system according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Certificate of exam results after re-evaluation (for candidates whose exam papers have adjusted scores).

* Requirements and conditions for implementing administrative procedures: Not specified.
How long is the period to receive re-evaluation applications for high school graduation exam papers?
Article 33 of the High School Graduation Exam Regulations issued with Circular 15/2020/TT-BGDDT stipulates the re-evaluation of high school graduation exam papers as follows:

The place where candidates registered will receive re-evaluation applications within 10 days from the announcement of exam results and transfer the data of candidates who requested re-evaluation to the Exam Council. Within 15 days from the end of the re-evaluation application period, the Exam Council must announce and notify the re-evaluation results to the candidates.
Before handing over the exam papers to the Re-Evaluation Committees, the Secretariat of the Exam Council must carry out the following tasks:
a) Lookup the candidate’s seat number to find the essay exam paper number or the candidate’s OMR sheet; retrieve the exam paper, cross-check with the Exam Paper Receipt Sheet to verify;
b) Collect the exam papers needing re-evaluation by exam/mass subject into one or several envelopes, specifying the number of exam papers and the number of exam sheets currently in each envelope;
c) For essay exam papers: Hand over the exam papers of candidates requesting re-evaluation to the Decoding Committee for decoding; receive the decoded exam papers from the Decoding Committee and deliver them to the Essay Exam Paper Re-Evaluation Committee for re-evaluation;
d) The handover between the Secretariat of the Exam Council and the Essay Exam Paper Re-Evaluation Committee is carried out according to the regulations in Article 27 of these Regulations; when handing over the objective exam papers, the corresponding Exam Paper Receipt Sheets must also be handed over.
Thus, the period to receive re-evaluation applications for high school graduation exam papers is within 10 days from the announcement of the exam results.
Within 15 days from the end of the re-evaluation application period, the re-evaluation results will be announced and notified to the candidates.
