Can students with good conduct be considered for advanced or excellent student titles?
Based on Clause 8, Article 1 of Circular 26/2020/TT-BGDDT which stipulates the recognition of student titles as follows:
Recognition of the title of excellent student for a semester or the entire academic year, if the student's conduct is rated as good and academic performance is rated as excellent.
Recognition of the title of advanced student for a semester or the entire academic year, if the student's conduct is rated as fair or better and academic performance is rated as fair or better.
Students who achieve outstanding achievements or make remarkable progress in their studies and training are awarded certificates of merit by the Principal.
...
According to this regulation, students are recognized as excellent students for a semester or the entire academic year if their conduct is rated as good and academic performance is rated as excellent; students are recognized as advanced students for a semester or the entire academic year if their conduct is rated as fair or better and academic performance is rated as fair or better.
Thus, in the case of a student with excellent academic performance but fair conduct, they will not be recognized as an excellent student. However, for the title of advanced student, only fair conduct is required.
Sincerely!
