Procedure for Selection and Awarding of the Outstanding Business Award for Employees

Regarding the selection and awarding of the Outstanding Business Award for Labor, I would like to inquire: What is the procedure for the selection and awarding process? I seek the editorial board's support.

According to Article 5 of the Regulations on selection and awarding the Outstanding Enterprise for Workers Award issued together with Decision No. 1717/QD-TLD in 2019, the selection and awarding process is prescribed as follows:

- Enterprises prepare and submit the application dossier for the Award to the Award Organizing Committee (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizing Committee”).

- The Organizing Committee reviews the dossier, evaluates and scores (based on the set criteria).

- The Organizing Committee surveys and gathers concurring opinions from the provincial and municipal Labor Federations, Central sector unions and equivalents; local Departments of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; media outlets, and other relevant agencies (if necessary).

- The Organizing Committee compiles a list of participating enterprises for the Award (in descending order of score).

- The Selection Council meets to review, select, and propose the list of commendations and Award recipients.

- Publicly announce the selection results and proposed list of Award recipients in the Labor Newspaper.

- The Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor issues a decision on the enterprises to be awarded.

- Organize the Award Ceremony.
