CCV receiving long-term treatment for illness: Is it necessary to attend professional training courses within the year?
According to Clause 3, Article 14 of Circular 01/2021/TT-BTP, the following cases are exempted from the obligation to participate in professional training for the year, as follows:
- Female notaries who are pregnant or nursing infants under 12 months old;
- Notaries who require long-term treatment at a medical facility for diseases on the list of diseases requiring long-term treatment as prescribed by the Ministry of Health for a period of 03 months or more, with a certificate from a district-level or equivalent health authority.
Notaries are responsible for submitting documents proving they fall into one of the cases specified in points a and b of this clause to the Department of Justice where they are registered to practice no later than December 15 each year to compile a list of notaries exempted from the obligation to participate in professional training for that year.
Thus, notaries who require long-term treatment (for diseases on the list of diseases requiring long-term treatment) for 03 months or more and have a certificate from a district-level health authority will be exempted from the obligation to participate in professional training for the year.
Respectfully!
