Pursuant to Clause 1 Article 3 of the Circular 01/2020/TT-VPCP stipulating the Government Office Reporting Information System in Vietnam as follows:

Explanation of words

In this Circular, the following terms are construed as follows:

1. Government Office Reporting Information System (hereinafter referred to as the System) is an information system that collects, synthesizes, analyzes and reports data and provides data for directing work, run by the Government Office and provide data at the request of competent agencies and persons.

What are periodical reporting regimes within the scope of the Government Office's management in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Article 8 of the Circular 01/2020/TT-VPCP stipulating periodical reporting regimes within the scope of the Government Office's management in Vietnam as follows:

Periodic reporting regimes within the scope of management functions of the Government Office

1. Report on reviewing the direction and administration of the Government and the Prime Minister according to Clause 3, Article 48 of Decree No. 138/2016/ND-CP dated October 1, 2016 of the Government promulgating the Regulation on working government work.

2. Report on the control of administrative procedures, implementation of the one-stop-shop, one-stop-shop mechanism in handling administrative procedures and implementing administrative procedures in the electronic environment according to Decree No. 63/2010 /ND-CP dated June 8, 2010 of the Government on control of administrative procedures (amended and supplemented), Decree No. 61/2018/ND-CP dated April 23, 2018 of the Government on implementing the single-window mechanism in handling administrative procedures and the Government's Decree No. 45/2020/ND-CP dated April 8, 2020 on the implementation of administrative procedures in the electronic environment.

3. Report on organization of meetings according to Decision No. 45/2018/QD-TTg dated November 9, 2018 of the Prime Minister stipulating the meeting mode in management and administration activities of agencies under state administrative system.

4. Report on the results of sending and receiving electronic documents and processing work records in the network environment according to the Prime Minister's Decision No. 28/2018/QD-TTg dated July 12, 2018 on sending, receive electronic documents between agencies in the state administrative system and related regulations.

5. Report on the results of standardization and electronicization of the reporting regime, implementation of the Reporting Information System of ministries, agencies and localities according to Decree No. 09/2019/ND-CP dated January 24, 2019 Government's regulations on reporting regimes of state administrative agencies.

6. Report on the organization and implementation of the provisions of the law on Official Gazette according to the Government's Decree No. 34/2016/ND-CP dated May 14, 2016 detailing a number of articles and implementation measures Law on promulgation of legal documents.

Therefore, within the scope of functions of the Government Office, there are reporting regimes including:

- Report on reviewing the direction and administration of the Government and the Prime Minister

- Report on control of administrative procedures, implementation of one-stop shop, one-stop-shop mechanism in handling administrative procedures and implementing administrative procedures in the electronic environment

- Report on organization of meetings

- Report the results of sending and receiving electronic documents and processing work records in the network environment

- Report the results of standardization, electronicization of the reporting mode

- Report on the organization and implementation of the provisions of the law on Official Gazette.

What are responsibilities of the reporting agency and the report-receiving agency in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Article 4 of the Circular 01/2020/TT-VPCP stipulating responsibilities of the reporting agency and the report-receiving agency in Vietnam as follows:

For reporting agencies

- Collect, synthesize and update information and report data to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness as required.

- Timely adjust and supplement information and data as required in case the receiving agency returns the report on the System.

For the agency receiving the report

- Check, synthesize information and data from reports sent to, approve and report to competent authorities.

- Timely return and request the reporting agency to adjust and supplement reports that do not ensure completeness and accuracy.
