Transportation or Delivery of Mail Containing Culturally Inappropriate Materials, Violating Social Ethics and Traditional Customs: What Are the Penalties?

According to Clause 2, Article 9 of Decree 15/2020/ND-CP (effective from April 15, 2020), the content is stipulated as follows:

A fine ranging from VND 20,000,000 to VND 30,000,000 shall be imposed for the act of sending, accepting, transporting, or distributing mail containing cultural materials that are unethical or contrary to the traditional customs and values of Vietnam.

Remedial measures:

Compulsory destruction of the items for violations specified in Clause 2 of this Article.

Thus, the fine for the act of transporting or distributing mail containing cultural materials that are unethical or contrary to the traditional customs and values of Vietnam is from VND 10,000,000 to VND 20,000,000.
