Subjects Required to Register When Entering Through Automatic Control Gates

Based on Clause 1, Article 10 of Decree 77/2020/ND-CP stipulating the subjects eligible for entry and exit through the automated control gates, the following subjects are required to register:

Vietnamese citizens using passports with electronic chips traveling to countries that do not grant visa exemptions for entry;

Vietnamese citizens using passports without electronic chips;

Vietnamese citizens using laissez-passer under agreements between Vietnam and countries sharing land borders;

Foreigners holding permanent residence cards, temporary residence cards issued by competent authorities of Vietnam.

The above subjects are eligible for entry and exit through the automated control gates but must complete registration procedures in accordance with legal regulations.
