Regulation on Universal Telecommunications Service for Digital Microwave Transmission to Provide Broadband Services to Island Districts

According to the provisions of Article 17 of Circular 02/2020/TT-BTTTT, the public telecommunications service of digital microwave transmission for providing broadband services to island districts is stipulated as follows:

1. Entities eligible for the public telecommunications service support of digital microwave transmission connecting to island districts are telecommunications enterprises renting digital microwave transmission to provide broadband services to island districts.

2. The support level for telecommunications enterprises under Clause 1 of this Article is 50% of the value on the pre-VAT invoice for renting digital microwave transmission, which the leasing enterprise issues to the telecommunications enterprise when renting digital microwave transmission to provide broadband services to island districts.
