Frequency, timing for issuing early warnings of flash floods, landslides caused by storms and rain, and runoff are regulated as how?
At Clause 6, Article 15 of Decision 03/2020/QD-TTg, there are stipulations regarding the frequency and timing of issuing flash flood and landslide warnings due to rain, flooding, and stream flows as follows:
- Flash flood and landslide warnings due to rain or stream flows are issued immediately after detecting the possibility of flash floods and landslides in the warning area.
Additionally, at Clause 7, Article 15 of Decision 03/2020/QD-TTg, it is stipulated:
- For local rivers not specified in Appendix II and Appendix III, the agencies issuing the flood forecast and warning bulletins pursuant to Clause 1, Article 5 of this Decision, based on the requirements of flood prevention activities and the characteristics of each river or river system, shall decide on the timing and frequency of issuing flood forecast and warning bulletins.
