Electronic Copy Issued from Original Register Valid for Use in Place of the Original
According to the provisions of Clause 2, Article 10 of Decree 45/2020/ND-CP (Effective from May 22, 2020), this content is regulated as follows:
In cases where organizations or individuals request the issuance of electronic copies from the original books, the agency managing the original books shall issue electronic copies with the agency's digital signature to the requester based on the original books. The authority to issue, and the rights of organizations and individuals to request the issuance of electronic copies from the original books, shall be implemented according to the legal provisions on issuing copies from the original books.
The electronic copies issued from the original books shall have the same value as the original documents in transactions, except where otherwise provided by law.
Thus, according to this provision, the electronic copies issued from the original books hold the same value as the original documents, except where otherwise provided by law.
