Business License for Civil Cryptographic Service: Duration Validity?

Section 4 Article 32 of the 2015 Law on Cyber Information Security stipulates:

The civil cryptographic service business license is valid for 10 years.

Section 3 Article 33 also stipulates: Enterprises that do not violate the provisions of the law on civil cryptographic service business shall be granted a one-time extension of the civil cryptographic service business license for a period of no more than 1 year.

The dossier for requesting a license extension must be sent to the Government Cipher Board of Vietnam at least 60 days before the license expiration date.

Thus, the civil cryptographic service business license is valid for 10 years and can be extended once for no more than 1 year.
