What are online securities trading codes registration transaction for foreign investors through online communication portal of Vietnam Securities Depository?

Pursuant to Clause 1, Article 12 of the Regulation on guiding the handling of transactions through the online communication portal of the Vietnam Securities Depository, issued together with Decision 40/QD-VSD in 2022 regulating online securities trading codes registration transaction for foreign investors as follows:

1. Online securities trading codes registration:

1.1. The online registration of online securities trading codes registration by investors is specified in the Regulation on registration of securities trading codes of foreign investors at the Vietnam Securities Depository (hereinafter referred to as the Regulation on operation of issuing online securities trading codes registration) via the Online Communication Portal is done as follows:

a. The member sends the investor 's request for online online securities trading codes registration registration (individual or organization) to VSD using MT598 - Request for a transaction code for individual/institutional foreign investors.

b. VSD responds to the results of approving or rejecting investors' request for online online securities trading codes registration registration by electricity MT5 98 - Result of processing the request for issuance of an individual foreign investor code of an individual/organization by depository member.

1.2. The order and processing time for investors' online application for transaction registration shall comply with the provisions of the Regulation on operation of granting transaction documents.

What is transaction of editing information on online securities trading codes registration declaration for foreign investors through online communication portal of Vietnam Securities Depository?

According to Clause 2, Article 12, Regulation on guiding the handling of transactions through the online communication portal of the Vietnam Securities Depository, issued together with Decision 40/QD-VSD in 2022, regulating transaction of editing information on online securities trading codes registration declaration as follows:

2.1. Transactions to correct information on declaration of online transaction registration of investors specified in the Regulations on operation of granting transaction fees via the Online Communication Portal are carried out as follows:

a. The member sends a request to change the online registration declaration information of the investor (individual or organization) to VSD by email MT598 - Request to change the declaration information for online online securities trading codes registration registration for Individual foreign investors/organizations.

b. The system of the digital VSD processes and returns the results to the depository member with an ACK if the request is valid or a NAK if the request is invalid.

2.2. The order, procedures and processing time for the transaction to correct information on the investor's online transaction registration declaration shall comply with the provisions of the Regulation on operation of granting transaction transaction.

What is transaction of canceling online securities trading codes registration for foreign investors through online communication portal of Vietnam Securities Depository?

In Clause 3, Article 12, Regulation on guiding the handling of transactions through the online communication portal of the Vietnam Securities Depository, issued together with Decision 40/QD-VSD in 2022, providing for transaction of canceling online securities trading codes registration for foreign investors through online communication portal of Vietnam Securities Depository as follows:

3.1. The implementation of the transaction of canceling the investor's online transaction registration declaration information as prescribed in the Regulations on the operation of issuing online securities trading codes registration through the Online Communication Portal is done as follows:

a. A member sends a request to cancel the declaration of online registration of an investor (individual or organization) to VSD by email MT598 - Request to cancel the declaration of online registration for foreign investors. 

b. VSD's system will process and return the results to depository member by ACK if the request is valid or NAK if the request is invalid.

3.2. The order, procedures and processing time for the transaction of canceling the investor's online transaction registration declaration shall comply with the provisions of the Regulation on operation of granting transaction fee.

What is transaction of adjusting information of online online securities trading codes registration for foreign investors through online communication portal of Vietnam Securities Depository?

According to Clause 4, Article 12, Regulation on guiding the handling of transactions through the online communication portal of the Vietnam Securities Depository, issued together with Decision 40/QD-VSD in 2022, regulating transaction of adjusting information of online online securities trading codes registration as follows:

4.1. The implementation of transactions to adjust information on online transaction registration of investors as stipulated in the Regulations on operation of granting transaction documents through the online communication portal is carried out as follows:

a. A member sends a request for adjustment of investor's online securities trading codes registration (individual or organization) to VSD via MT598 - Request for adjustment of online securities trading codes registration for individual foreign investors /organization.

b. VSD responds to approval or rejection of investor's request for adjustment of online securities trading codes registration by electricity MT598 - Result of processing request for adjustment of online securities trading codes registration for individual foreign investors/organization of depository member.

4.2. The order, procedures and transaction processing time for adjustment of investor's online transaction registration information shall comply with the provisions of the Regulation on operation of granting transaction transaction.

What is transaction of changing information on granting securities trading codes to foreign investors of Vietnam Securities Depository?

In Clause 5, Article 12 of the Regulation on guiding the handling of transactions through the online communication portal of the Vietnam Securities Depository, issued together with Decision 40/QD-VSD in 2022, regulating transaction of changing information on granting securities trading codes to foreign investors as follows:

5. Transaction of changing information on granting transaction registration fee to foreign investors:

5.1. Transactions to change information on granting transaction receipts of investors specified in the Regulations on operation of granting transaction receipts through the online communication portal are carried out as follows:

a. The member sends a request to change the information of the investor's transaction transaction fee (individual or organization) to VSD by means of MT598 - Request to change the information on the issuance of transaction transaction transaction fee to the individual/institutional foreign investor.

b. VSD responds to the results of approving or rejecting the request to change information on granting transaction transaction registration fee to investors by electricity MT598 - Result of processing request to change information on granting transaction transaction transaction fee to foreign investors of VSD.

5.2. The order, procedures and processing time for the transaction of adjusting transaction information of the investor shall comply with the provisions of the Regulation on operation of the issuance of transaction transaction application.
