Classification of Pay Grade and Salary Scale for Newly Recruited Officials with Social Insurance Contribution Periods
Grading of ranks, salary steps for newly recruited officials who have had previous social insurance contributions are stipulated in Article 19 Decree 138/2020/ND-CP, specifically:
- In cases where a person is recruited or received into employment as an official according to the provisions of this Decree, and is assigned work in accordance with their field of training or previously held professional expertise, the period of service with compulsory social insurance contributions according to the provisions of the Law on Social Insurance before the recruitment or receipt into official employment (if there are periods of service with non-continuous compulsory social insurance contributions without receiving lump-sum social insurance benefits, they will be accumulated) at an educational level corresponding to the educational requirement of the recruited, received job position will be calculated as the basis for rank grading and salary steps appropriate for the recruited, received job position.
- The salary grading for officials corresponding to the recruited, received job position will be implemented according to current regulations.
