Standards for Commercial Housing Areas
According to current regulations, commercial housing is housing that is invested in construction to be sold, rented, or leased following market mechanisms.
The type of housing and area standards for commercial housing are specified in Article 24 of the Housing Law 2014 with the following content:
- The type of housing, area standards for each type of commercial housing are determined and selected by the project's investor, but must ensure compliance with detailed construction planning, standards, construction regulations, housing architecture, and the contents of the investment policy decision on housing construction projects by competent state agencies.
- For apartment buildings, they must be designed and constructed as self-contained apartments, with apartment floor areas according to construction standards and regulations.
- For individual houses, they must be constructed in accordance with the detailed construction planning and design approved according to construction standards and regulations.
