Is There a Limit on Real Estate Brokerage Commission Rates?
Pursuant to Article 65 of the 2014 Law on Real Estate Business, regulations on real estate brokerage commissions are as follows:
- Enterprises and individuals engaged in real estate brokerage services are entitled to brokerage commissions when customers sign contracts for purchase, transfer, lease, sublease, or lease-purchase of real estate.
- The rate of real estate brokerage commissions is agreed upon by the parties in the contract.
=> Thus, based on the above provision, the rate of real estate brokerage commissions is agreed upon by the parties in the contract, without any limit on the brokerage commission rate.
