Entitlement to a One-time Survivorship Allowance when the Pensioner Dies after Receiving 4 Months of Pension
Section 3, Article 81 of the Social Insurance Law 2014 stipulates the survivor benefit policy for cases where participants of voluntary social insurance receiving a pension die as follows:
The lump-sum survivor benefit for the relatives of a person receiving a pension who dies is calculated based on the time the pension has been received. If death occurs in the first 2 months of receiving the pension, the benefit amount is equivalent to 48 months of the pension being received; if death occurs in subsequent months, for each additional month of pension received, the benefit amount decreases by 0.5 months of the pension.
According to this regulation, in the case of your family member, your family will receive a lump-sum survivor benefit equivalent to 49 months of the pension your family member was receiving.
Sincerely!
