Process of reducing the payment rate within the extension of payment time limit of households online in Vietnam

This is the content specified in the Decision No. 1187/QD-BHXH dated May 24, 2022 issuing the procedures for reducing the payment level for the extension of health insurance card with the family on the public service portal of Vietnam.

Accordingly, the process of reducing the payment level for the extension of health insurance cards by household in Vietnam on the Public Service Portal (online) includes the following steps:

Step 1. Declare applications.

Step 2. After fully declaring information, the software system shall automatically check, compare and verify information on household members that have the same permanent residence registration or register temporary residence with the national population database.

Step 3. Paying money online on public service portals.

Step 4. Allocation of money in Vietnam Social Security system.

- Step 5: Return the result to the declarant.

Where, in Step 1, the declarant shall fully declare information fields, including:

- Information of householder: Full name, date of birth, gender, personal identification number;

- The list of members that register permanent residence or register temporary residence together to apply for extension of health insurance cards by household in Vietnam: code of health insurance card, full name, date of birth, sex, relation with the householder, number of months requested for extension.

Details in the Decision No. 1187/QD-BHXH takes effect from the date of its signing.
