Addition of early admission regulations for candidates directly enrolled in Vietnam

According to Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDĐT promulgates the Regulation on admission to universities and colleges of pre-primary education in Vietnam, the successful candidates may confirm early admission (when eligible), or according to the general plan as other candidates.

Specifically, the new Regulation guides the organization of registration and direct recruitment in Vietnam as follows:

Based on the announced admission scheme, the training institutions shall organize for candidates who are directly selected under the provisions of Article 8 of this Regulation to register their admission online or in person at training establishments in Vietnam.

The training institution organizes direct recruitment for qualified candidates and publishes the results according to the general plan.

Successful candidates can confirm their admission early (when eligible), or according to the general plan as other candidates; training institutions are not required to force candidates to confirm their admission earlier than the general plan in Vietnam.

Successful candidates who have not confirmed their admission may still use the right to register for admission on the general system in Vietnam to have more chances of winning as other candidates.

Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT takes effect from 22/7/2022 and replaces Circular 09/2020/TT-BGDDT, Circular 16/2021/TT-BGDDT.
