Handling of Violations by Candidates in the Exam Regulations

All violations of the exam regulations are documented, disciplined, and notified to the candidate.

  1. Warning:

a) For candidates who commit an offense once; look at or exchange papers with other candidates;

b) This form of warning is decided by the supervisor on the documented record.

2. Warning:

a) For candidates who commit one of the following offenses: Have already been warned once but continue to violate exam regulations during the exam session to the extent of another warning; exchange answers or scratch paper with other candidates; copy answers from other candidates or allow other candidates to copy their answers;

b) The form of disciplinary warning is decided by the supervisor on the documented record, along with the evidence (if any).

4. Deduction of Exam Scores

a) Candidates who are warned during any exam session will have 25% of the total points deducted for that exam;

b) Candidates who receive a warning during any exam session will have 50% of the total points deducted for that exam;

c) Exams found to be marked will have 50% of the total points deducted for that exam;

d) Zero score (0): Exams copied from unauthorized materials brought into the exam room; multiple answers for one exam; exams with handwriting from more than one person; parts of the exam written on scratch paper, non-conformable exam paper:

e) Candidates suspended from any exam session will receive zero points (0) for that exam and will not be allowed to continue with subsequent exams;

f) The deduction of exam scores stated in points c and d of this clause is decided by the Chairman of the Exam Council based on the written report of the Exam Committee.

1. The dossier of the candidates includes:

a) Decision of the Head of the participating unit on the establishment of teams participating in the National Excellent Student Selection Exam (accompanied by the list of students in each team);

b) Academic record of the respective educational level (in case the exam is organized before the end of the first semester of the academic year) or the semester's classification results (behavior or conduct) and learning results (or academic performance) of the semester immediately preceding the exam date for each candidate, certified by the school principal (in case the exam is organized immediately after the first semester of the academic year).

2. Issuing of Exam Cards:

a) The Head of the participating unit issues exam cards to the candidates in their unit; the issuance of exam cards must be completed at least 10 days before the exam date;

b) The exam card must be attached with a 04cm x 06cm color photo of the candidate, taken in the style of a Citizen ID photo within no more than 06 months before the exam and stamped by the unit.
