What are included in the guidelines for completing self-practicing rounds of (Internet Olympiads of English) - IOE in Vietnam?
To participate in the "IOE SELF-PRACTICE" session, you need to "Log In" to your IOE account. After logging in, the screen will appear as follows:
METHOD 1: You can select "SELF-PRACTICE" from the top menu as guided by the arrow.
METHOD 2: Select “Start Self-practicing”
At this point, the screen will display the questions corresponding to the number of rounds you need to complete. Click on “Take Test 1,2,3,4,5” as shown in the screen below to participate in the self-practicing session.
- Each self-practicing round of the IOE competition consists of 5 tests including 4 official exercises and 1 optional exercise (speaking practice).
+ Tests 1-2-3-4: You need to achieve at least 75% of the points for each test to complete.
+ Test 5 (Speaking Practice): This is an optional test in the self-practicing round. Students can record the results/redo the self-practicing round immediately after completing exercises 1-2-3-4 or continue with test 5 based on their personal learning needs.
In case students choose to take test 5, they will complete 10 questions per round.
- The result of one self-practicing session is calculated by the total points and total time spent on tests 1-2-3-4. The result of the speaking test does not add to the 4 practice tests to be recorded on the weekly leaderboard system.
- After completing the test, select “Redo” to practice the exercises in the IOE competition self-practicing round again, or “Save Results” to complete the round and move to the next round.
- There is no limit to the number of times you can redo the IOE competition practice rounds before pressing “Save Results.” The system only records the highest result from each round, which will be used to rank the account on the weekly leaderboard.
After completing 5 tests in a practice round, the system will show two options "Save Results" and "Redo" as the screen below:
Depending on your needs, you can click "Save Results" to save the test results on the system and continue to the next round.
Or you can click "Redo" to practice and consolidate the knowledge of the current IOE competition self-practicing round.
