Social evils lead to students losing concentration, neglecting studies, and declining academic performance.
Impact on Psychology:
Causes serious psychological damage, making students insecure, inferior, possibly leading to depression.
Impact on Relationships:
Damages relationships with family, friends, teachers.
Impact on Future:
Destroys their future, leaving students with no opportunity to develop themselves.

Environmental Influence: Family, friends, and surrounding society greatly impact students' behavior.
Curiosity, Desire to Try: Adolescents are often curious to explore new things.
Study Pressure: Excessive academic pressure drives students to unhealthy ways of relieving stress.
Lack of Family Attention: Lack of family care and sharing leads to loneliness and vulnerability to temptation.

What are objectives for preventing and combating drug-related social evils in schools by 2025 in Vietnam?
Based on Section 3 of the Project on Enhancing the Capacity for Drug Prevention in Schools until 2025, issued under Decision 356/QD-BGDDT in 2023, the goals are as follows:

- General Goals
+ Raise awareness, knowledge, skills, and responsibilities of school members in preventing and combating drug-related social evils among the younger generation, both inside and outside schools;
+ Collaborate in mobilizing the strength of the entire political system to engage in drug prevention and control work, aiming to create a nationwide movement and build self-defense mechanisms for the entire society against drug infiltration;
+ Employ comprehensive measures to prevent drug-related social evils from affecting the younger generation and penetrating schools, particularly those located in areas with complex drug-related issues, contributing to reducing the number of drug addicts and users nationwide.
- Specific Goals
+ 100% of schools should recognize the current situation of drug prevention work within the school (strengths, weaknesses, causes of limitations, shortcomings); evaluate the effectiveness of propaganda and education on drug prevention for school members and propose new, comprehensive, and effective approaches;
+ 100% of schools should organize propaganda, education, and dissemination of knowledge about drug prevention using forms and content suitable for schools.
+ At least 90% of school staff, teachers, lecturers, and employees receive knowledge and skills in drug prevention to be capable of integrating, incorporating content on drug prevention propaganda and education in academic teaching, experiential activities, and addressing issues related to drugs for students when needed;
+ 100% of schools should establish a Drug Prevention Steering Committee that performs regular tasks associated with the school's mission and activities each academic year; set up a hotline to receive information, provide advice, support, and promptly resolve issues concerning drug prevention work in schools.
How to organize drug-related social evil prevention in schools in Vietnam by 2025?
Based on Section 4 of the Project on Enhancing the Capacity for Drug Prevention in Schools until 2025, issued under Decision 356/QD-BGDDT in 2023, the organization of drug-related social evil prevention in schools by 2025 is as follows:
[1] Departments of Education and Training, and schools shall cooperate with relevant agencies and units in the area to organize law propaganda and education activities regarding drug prevention in schools for students. Specifically:
- Develop communication plans for drug prevention for school members;
- Organize propaganda through websites, electronic portals, mass media;
- Collaborate with local authorities to annually organize a legal knowledge competition on drug prevention, creating a healthy, beneficial playground for students; biannual coordination to organize training for spokespersons to provide specialized information on drug prevention for students at schools;
- Conduct rallies, seminars, interactions, specialized talks, and creation contests on drug prevention propaganda; integrate drug prevention law education and propaganda into school activities for students;
- Develop materials and resources (books, propaganda films, etc.) for online dissemination during the annual Drug Prevention Action Month and activities of Clubs;
- Collaborate with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in the propaganda and education of drug prevention for students.
- Annually organize students to sign a commitment to strictly comply with laws against drug trafficking, storage, transport, and use; actively participate in drug prevention and control activities and movements.
- Establish hotlines to receive information, provide advice, and support to resolve drug prevention issues in schools;
[2] Schools shall develop and cultivate a core team for propaganda on drug prevention education; general education institutions shall develop the model “Student Drug Prevention Club,” and higher education institutions shall develop the “Youth Drug Prevention Club" model to strengthen the propaganda team on drug harms, difficulties in drug rehabilitation, ways to detect and prevent drug addiction among school members and the learners' families. Schools should provide support for means, equipment, and materials for propaganda activities of the Drug Prevention Club.
