What is the deadline for candidates to confirm online university admission for 2024 in Vietnam?

According to the Plan for Implementing University Admission and Admission to College of Preschool Education in 2024 issued in conjunction with Decision 1139/QD-BGDDT 2024, candidates must confirm their online university admission for the first admission no later than 5:00 PM on August 27, 2024.

According to the guidance in Official Dispatch 1957/BGDDT-GDDH 2024, candidates who confirm their 2024 online university admission should note the following:

- For candidates who are directly admitted, from July 22, 2024, to 5:00 PM on July 31, 2024, they can confirm admission on the System (candidates who have confirmed admission will not be allowed to continue registering their aspiration for admission, except for cases where the head of the training institution allows deferral).

If they have not yet confirmed admission, candidates can continue to register their aspiration for admission on the System or the National Public Service Portal just like other candidates for evaluation by the training institutions. If admitted, they will confirm admission according to the general schedule;

- No later than 5:00 PM on August 27, 2024, admitted university candidates must complete the first admission of online admission confirmation on the System.

- Complete the payment of the recruitment fee before the end of registration procedures.

Responsibilities of High Schools and Other Assigned Units for Candidates under Their Management

- Organize reviews, checks, and updates of personal information and high school academic performance data for candidates on the sector’s database system;

- Verify data and guide candidates in entering correct information, including region and priority group information;

- Support candidates who do not have the means to register online in registering their aspirations;

- Assist training institutions with special recruitment plans in verifying high school academic performance data for candidates.

Responsibilities of Training Institutions

- Provide complete, correct, and authentic recruitment information and data on the system as guided by the Ministry of Education and Training (MDT);

- Set (or come to an agreement with other training institutions) the fees, collection methods, and usage of recruitment service fees;

- Provide complete information, advice, and guidance to candidates, ensuring candidates do not apply to sectors, programs, or recruitment methods for which they are not eligible;

- Ensure that the recruitment process is accurate, fair, and objective; adhere to commitments made in the published recruitment plan;

- Verify information and supporting documents when candidates enroll, ensuring all enrolled candidates meet admission criteria;

- Address complaints, accusations, and reports related to the recruitment process as per the law.
