Writing Practice

- Be able to write 4 - 5 sentences recounting an event they have witnessed or participated in based on suggestions.

- Be able to write 4 - 5 sentences describing a familiar, close object based on suggestions.

- Be able to write 4 - 5 sentences expressing their feelings towards family members or events based on suggestions.

- Be able to write 4 - 5 sentences introducing a familiar object based on suggestions.

- Know how to name a picture.

- Know how to write a timetable, postcard, message, thank you note, apology note.

Therefore, under the above regulations, one of the learning outcomes required for writing practice in the 2nd-grade Vietnamese Language curriculum is knowing how to write a timetable, postcard, message, thank you note, and apology note.

Thus, 2nd-grade students are required to know how to write a thank you note as part of their curriculum.

What are the 05 essential qualities required for 2nd-grade students after completing the Vietnamese Language curriculum?

According to Section 6 of the Appendix to the General Education Program for the Vietnamese Language issued along with Circular 32/2018/TT-BGDDT, the 05 essential qualities required for 2nd-grade students after completing the Vietnamese Language curriculum include:

- Loving nature, and loving the country with its rich expressions in life as well as in literature; cherishing and being proud of family, hometown, and national traditions; respecting, and being grateful to laborers, and those who have contributed to the country; knowing how to appreciate and protect beauty; introducing and preserving cultural values and historical sites; having living ideals and a deep awareness of national sovereignty and the nation's future.

- Showing concern for loved ones, respecting friends and teachers; knowing how to be tolerant, forgiving; being moved by good people and good deeds, maintaining harmonious relationships with others; knowing how to empathize, share joy, sorrow, and love with those around and in literary works; respecting differences in background and culture, knowing how to forgive and be generous with others.

- Regularly reading newspapers; consistently completing learning tasks, being diligent in family and school work; loving labor, having the will to overcome difficulties; actively preparing for future careers.

- Being honest, straightforward, truthful with themselves and others; loving justice, valuing truth; being forthright in expressing their thoughts and feelings.

- Keeping promises, daring to take responsibility for their words, actions, and consequences of their work; having attitudes and behaviors that show respect for common regulations in public places; being ready to fulfill citizen responsibilities; knowing how to maintain the dignity and character of Vietnamese citizens; also, selectively acquiring the cultural essence of humanity to integrate internationally and become global citizens.
