Regarding this issue, LawNet responded as follows:

1. Standards for member of Vietnam Multi-level Marketing Association

- Members of the Association include official members, associate members, and honorary members:

+ Official members of the Association are Vietnamese enterprises (no foreign investors as members or shareholders) organizing business activities by the method of multi-level selling that have been granted a valid certificate of multi-level sale registration by a competent authority, fully meet the criteria specified in Clause 2 of this Article, agree to the Association's Charter, and voluntarily join the Association;

Affiliate members: must be Vietnamese enterprises (with foreign investors as members or shareholders) organizing business activities according to the multi-level selling method, which has been granted a valid certificate of multi-level sale registration by the competent authority and approved by the Association's charter.

Honorary member: Citizens and organizations of Vietnam are not eligible to become official members or associate members of the Association but must have appropriate reputation, expertise, and make contributions to the Association for the operation and development of the Association, endorse the Association's Charter, and be admitted and recognized as honorary members of the Association.

- Criteria for official membership:

+ Vietnamese enterprises (no foreign investors as members or shareholders) organize business activities by the mode of multi-level sale, which has been granted a valid certificate of registration of multi-level sale by the competent authority;

+ Approving the Association's Charter;

+ Voluntarily write an application to join the Association;

+ Paying membership fees according to the Association's regulations;

+ Being recognized by the Association's Standing Board as a member of the Association in accordance with the law and the Association's Charter.

2. Rights of members of Vietnam Multi-level Marketing Association

The rights of members of the Vietnam Multi-level Marketing Association include:

- To have their legitimate rights and interests protected by the Association in accordance with the law.

- To be provided with information related to the Association's field of activities by the Association, to participate in activities organized by the Association.

- To participate in discussions and decisions on the Association's working policies in accordance with the Association's regulations; to propose and give opinions to the competent authority on issues related to the field of operation of the Association in accordance with the provisions of law.

- To attend the General Meeting, stand for election, nominate, and elect the Executive Board and the Association's Inspection Committee in accordance with the Association's regulations.

- To introduce Vietnamese citizens and businesses wishing to become members of the Association.

- To be rewarded by the Association according to the Association's regulations.

- To receive Membership card.

- To leave the Association upon wanting

- Associate members, honorary members enjoy the same rights as official members, except for the right to vote on matters of the Association and the right to stand for election, nominate, and elect the Executive Board and the Association's Inspection Committee.

3. Obligations of members of Vietnam Multi-level Marketing Association

Obligations of members of the Vietnam Multi-level Marketing Association include:

- To strictly abide by the guidelines and lines of the Party, policies, and laws of the State; comply with the Association's charter and regulations.

- To participate in the activities of the Association; unite and cooperate with other members to build a strong development association.

- To protect the reputation of the Association, do not act on behalf of the Association in transactional relationships, unless assigned in writing by the Association's leaders.

- To implement the information and reporting regime in accordance with the Association's regulations.

- To pay the membership fee in full and on time according to the Association's regulations.

- When changing the representative (organizational member), to notify the Standing Board of the Association in accordance with the law and the Association's Charter.
