Public Employees with Smartphones Are Required to Install Bluezone

After discussions and agreement with the Ministry of Health regarding the nationwide implementation of the Bluezone application to serve the tasks of Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control, the Ministry of Information and Communications has identified 10 propaganda measures for deployment and requested relevant agencies and units to cooperate in implementing. To be specific, as follows:

- State agencies should advocate for pandemic prevention by requiring all officials and public employees, as well as workers with smartphones, to install Bluezone. Agencies and units should assign staff to record activities at the premises, informing and requiring everyone coming to work to be aware of, install, and run the application;- Local authorities, mass organizations, and neighborhood groups should go door to door distributing leaflets, instructing residents to install and use the application;- The Youth Union and Women's Union should launch movements to encourage the installation and support citizens in installing Bluezone;- Educational institutions should require students with smartphones to install the application for themselves and their relatives;- Display installation notifications and installation instructions for Bluezone on public wifi channels, bus stations, airports, ports, and transportation vehicles.
