On July 26, 2022, the Prime Minister issued Decision 897/QD-TTg approving the Program “Youth Entrepreneurship Support” phase 2022-2030.
Specifically, in Vietnam's program "Youth Entrepreneurship Support" for the period 2022–2030, the tasks of supporting young people starting up and developing businesses in Vietnam are identified as follows:
- To search, sort, and consolidate potential startup ideas;
- To help young people improve their business capacity and start-up;
- To support young start-ups to access capital sources and domestic and foreign investors;
- To build and develop channels to support the distribution and consumption of youth start-up products;
- To provide legal advice to young people starting a business;
- To support in linking and developing start-up business networks.
At the same time, promote research, policy proposals, inspection and supervision in Vietnam with the following content:
- To research, send feedback, adjust, supplement, and propose new policies to support youth entrepreneurship and business development by object and region;
- To organize "Youth Entrepreneurship Forum" dialogue programs;
- To consult and recommend policies to attract resources from overseas youth and international students to start their own businesses;
- To develop documents to summarize the state's policies to support youth entrepreneurship;
- To supervise the implementation of propaganda, law dissemination, and policy implementation on business development and entrepreneurship for young people;
- Social criticism on draft policies and laws on business development and supporting youth entrepreneurship.
Vietnam's Decision 897/QD-TTg takes effect from the date of signing.
