02 subjects delayed vaccination against COVID-19

On December 21, 2021, the Ministry of Health issued Decision 5785/QD-BYT promulgating temporary guidance on pre-vaccination screening for COVID-19 vaccine for people aged 18 years and older.

Accordingly, the Guidelines clearly state that 02 subjects who delay vaccination are people with acute diseases and pregnant women under 13 weeks.

(Previously, Decision 4355/QD-BYT dated September 10, 2021 specified 03 subjects to delay vaccination. Thus, the new Guidelines removed the subjects of people with a clear history of having COVID-19 in the past. within 6 months).

In addition, subjects eligible for vaccination were those of the vaccination age recommended in the manufacturer's instructions for use and were not hypersensitive to the active ingredient or to any of the excipients in the vaccine's composition. ask for.

In particular, contraindicated for people with a history of obvious anaphylaxis to the same type of COVID-19 vaccine (last time) and have any contraindications according to the manufacturer's announcement.

Subjects that need careful vaccination, including groups of people who must be carefully and carefully screened: People with a history of allergies to other allergens; people with underlying diseases, chronic diseases; people who lose consciousness, lose their behavioral capacity; people with a history of thrombocytopenia and/or coagulopathy; pregnant women ≥ 13 weeks; The person who discovered abnormal vital signs...

Decision 5785/QD-BYT takes effect from December 21, 2021 and replaces Decision 4355/QD-BYT dated September 10, 2021.
