According to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 98 of the Labor Code 2019, employees in Vietnam are entitled to fully paid leave on these holidays. If the employer "forces" employees to work on holidays or does not fully pay wages to employees who work on holidays, they will be fined from 10 to 20 million VND according to the provisions of Clause 2, Article 17 of Decree 28/2020/ND-CP, specifically:
