This is an important content mentioned in Decree 64/2014/ND-CP issued by the Government of Vietnam, detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Citizen Reception.
State administrative agencies, heads of state administrative agencies, people's armed units, public service providers, citizen reception staff, and related agencies, organizations, and individuals must take responsibility to cooperate with each other in receiving and guiding citizens.
To be specific, Decree 64/2014/ND-CP designates the following agencies and organizations to be responsible for coordinating in the reception and guidance of citizens:
- Citizen Reception Committees at all levels are responsible for organizing the reception, protection, administration, clerical work, and direction for citizens.- The department or official responsible for receiving and guiding citizens under the Citizen Reception Committees is responsible for receiving and guiding citizens to the representative agencies, organizations participating in regular citizen reception at the Headquarters for Citizen Reception to implement complaints, denunciations, petitions, and reflections as specified by law.- Representatives of agencies and organizations participating in regular citizen reception at the Headquarters for Citizen Reception are responsible for receiving and handling complaints, denunciations, petitions, and reflections within their assigned duties.- The Citizen Reception Committee is responsible for monitoring and summarizing the situation of citizen reception, handling complaints, denunciations, petitions, and reflections at the Headquarters for Citizen Reception.
