What Conditions Must Off-road Sports Cars Meet?

Recently, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has issued Circular 18/2015/TT-BVHTTDL stipulating conditions for practicing and competing in off-road motor sport.

Circular 18 stipulates the conditions for off-road motor racing vehicles as follows:

- If the vehicle is a convertible or open-top, it must have a roll cage (protective frame): made of pipes with a minimum diameter of 30mm and a minimum thickness of 3mm for steel pipes or 5mm for aluminum pipes, welded or directly attached to the frame or body (floor) at least 6 points (base plates).- The base plate must have minimum dimensions of 100mm x 100mm x 5mm.

Additionally, the off-road motor racing tracks must meet the following conditions:

- The track can be artificial or based on natural terrain according to the technical requirements and the content of the competition.- There must be markers, tapes, and signboards to indicate the track.- There must be markers and warning signs for obstacles or dangerous areas on the track.- The organization of races on natural terrain must comply with the legal regulations on environmental protection.
