What are the Responsibilities of the Evidence Custodian in Managing the Evidence Warehouse?

The custodian of evidence storage in the Military must be responsible for managing the evidence storage as stipulated in Circular 131/2014/TT-BQP as follows:

- Implement the retention and preservation of evidence in the storage according to the technical procedures based on principles and standards prescribed by law and the military ordnance sector;- Implement the sealing, labeling of evidence, clearly stating the case name, the sending authority of the case evidence, and preserving them separately to avoid confusion;- Conduct the import and export of evidence storage according to orders;- Fully record in the inventory book and create an import or export receipt specifying the hour, date, month, year of import or export; fullname, position of the person issuing the import or export order and the delivering, receiving persons; reasons for import or export; types, quantities, characteristics, and conditions of the evidence;- The import or export receipt is created in two copies, signed by both delivering and receiving parties, each retaining one copy;- Immediately report to the warehouse commander when detecting any evidence loss, infringement, appropriation, or damage.- Annually, the Evidence Custodian must conduct inventory checks and report the results to the evidence storage managing authority on June 25 and December 25.
