What Are the Duties and Responsibilities of Teachers Serving as General Team Leaders?

Teachers serving as General Head of the Young Pioneers Team have the following duties and powers:

1. Perform the duties and powers of teachers at various levels of education as stipulated in the current school charter.

2. Advise the principal on issues within the scope of expertise and professional duties concerning the Young Pioneers’ Team and children’s activities within the school.

3. Develop, organize, and manage activity programs for team members and students in the school according to the plans of the education sector, the Young Pioneers’ Team activities, and children's movements of the Young Pioneers Council at all levels.

4. Establish the organizational system of the Young Pioneers' Team in the school following the principles of organization and operation of the Young Pioneers League of Ho Chi Minh; train the leading team of sub-teams and the Team's command board at various levels.

5. Coordinate with related organizations and individuals to organize the Young Pioneers' Team activities and children's movements, and educational activities within the school.

6. Study, practice, and attend professional development courses in teaching methods, Young Pioneers' Team work, and children’s movements organized by the education sector and the Young Pioneers Council at all levels to improve professional skills.

7. Be ensured the necessary conditions to carry out the Young Pioneers' Team activities and children's movements, and educational activities that are appropriate to the actual conditions of the school and the local area.
