Circular 04/2015/TT-BTP stipulates that the content of notarization practice includes notarization skills and the following tasks related to notarization:

- Skills in receiving and classifying notarization requests; skills in checking the authenticity and legality of documents in the notarization request file; skills in examining and identifying the subjects and civil act capacity of persons participating in signing contracts and transactions;- Skills in dealing with notarization requesters, adhering to the Ethics Code for Notarization Practice; skills in explaining to the notarization requesters their rights, obligations, and legal interests, the meaning, and legal consequences of notarization; skills in explaining the reasons for refusing notarization requests;- Skills in researching and proposing solutions to notarization request files;- Skills in drafting contracts and transactions as requested by notarization requesters; skills in checking the authenticity and legality of contract drafts and transactions prepared by notarization requesters; verification skills;- Skills in notarizing translations; skills in certifying copies, certifying signatures in documents;- Skills in drafting testimonies;- Inspecting, arranging, and categorizing notarized and certified files for archiving;- Other skills and tasks related to notarization as assigned by the supervising notary.

The supervising notary shall guide the trainee to carry out the contents specified in Clause 1 of this Article. For those with a practice period of 06 months, the supervising notary shall coordinate with the notarization practice organization to arrange an appropriate training schedule and content as per the above requirements.
