Restoration of honor is a form of state compensation for people who have suffered damage due to violations during the performance of official duties, which shall be carried out for cases that seriously affect the honor of people who have been wronged during the proceedings, or people who have been subjected to illegal administrative measures.
1. Entities
- Sufferers in criminal procedures;
- Public employees faced with dismissal unlawfully
- Persons faced with administrative measures, including bringing to reformatory school, correctional facility, compulsory detoxification center unlawfully.
2. Entities conducting the honor restoration
Enforcer’s superior body shall proactively restore the sufferer’s honor.
3. Form of honor restoration
- Directly apologizing and publicly rectifying at the place where the sufferer being individual has been residing or where the sufferer being corporation has been headquartered;
- Publishing public apology and making public rectification.
