Vietnam: Responsibilities of graduates of Aquaculture in brackish water and saltwater, Level 5 of VQF

Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH issued by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs of Vietnam on the minimum knowledge volume and required competencies for graduates from intermediate (Level 4 of VQF) and college (Level 5 of VQF) levels in agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and veterinary will come into effect from February 10, 2019.

According to the regulation on the minimum knowledge volume and required competencies for graduates from intermediate and college levels in Aquaculture in brackish water and saltwater issued together with Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the basic level of autonomy and responsibility required for graduates of Aquaculture in brackish water and saltwater, Level 5 of VQF in Vietnam are specified as follows:

- Possess good moral qualities and correct recognition of the profession, possess a cooperative attitude with colleagues, respect laws and workplace regulations;

- Honest and highly disciplined, capable of working independently, ready to undertake assigned tasks; labor with high quality and productivity;

- Communicate and work effectively in groups, confident in communicating with colleagues and working with customers;

- Passionate about work, have professional ethics, industrial manners, and good organizational discipline awareness in the working process;

- High sense of responsibility for work outcomes, amicable and friendly attitude with colleagues;

- Dynamic, creative, capable of handling complex situations and issues in changing work conditions;

- Eager to learn, progressive, ready to guide, support subordinates, and effectively assign and supervise group work;

- Ready to accept new things, propose the application of scientific-technical advances, and new technology processes to enhance labor productivity and work efficiency;

- Evaluate job performance results, summarize, draw experience and improve after each work, each crop of saltwater and brackish water aquatic species;

- Fully and seriously implement protective measures, labor safety, and maintain common workplace hygiene.
