According to the Regulation on requirements regarding the minimum volume of knowledge and competencies for graduates at the intermediate level and college level in electrical, electronic and telecommunication engineering issued with Circular 48/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum skills required for graduates from the Refrigeration equipment assembly, Level 5 of VQF in Vietnam are specified as follows:

- Ability to read technical drawings in Refrigeration equipment assembly;

- Proficient installation of compressor units for refrigeration systems that meet technical, technological, and safety requirements for people and equipment;

- Proper handover of compressor units after installation and providing storage guidance to the receiving party;

- Proficient installation of heat exchange and expansion valves for refrigeration systems that meet technical, technological, and safety requirements for people and equipment;

- Proficient use of hand-held power tools (drills, cutters, grinders, etc.);

- Proper connection of piping that meets procedural and technical requirements, ensuring absolute safety for people and machines;

- Ability to use basic measuring and testing tools of the profession;

- Proficient use of safety equipment according to technical requirements;

- Proper installation of auxiliary equipment following procedures and technical requirements, ensuring absolute safety for people and machines;

- Ability to install the electrical system for refrigeration systems that meet technical, technological, and safety requirements for people and equipment;

- Ability to maintain equipment and piping of refrigeration systems according to procedures and technical requirements, ensuring safety for people and equipment;

- Proper handover of the entire refrigeration system after maintenance and providing operation guidance;

- Ability to organize and manage group or team installation activities;

- Proper use of safety protective gear and ability to perform first aid in case of incidents;

- Ability to use basic information technology according to regulations; exploit, process, and apply information technology in specialized tasks;

- Ability to use basic foreign language skills, achieving level 2/6 in the Vietnamese Foreign Language Proficiency Framework; application of foreign languages in specialized tasks.
