Recently, the Minister of National Defense of Vietnam promulgated Circular 106/2019/TT-BQP adjusting the monthly allowance for military personnel, cryptographic workers receiving salaries like military personnel who have demobilized, been discharged, or resigned.
From September 8, 2019, the Ministry of National Defense adjusted an increase of 7.19% on the monthly allowance level of June 2019 for demobilized soldiers and those receiving monthly support policies, as well as soldiers and cryptographic personnel whose salaries are treated similarly to demobilized soldiers, those who have resigned, and those receiving monthly support policies, according to the following formula:

Regarding the monthly allowance for demobilized soldiers and those who have resigned receiving monthly support policies and soldiers, cryptographic personnel whose salaries are treated similarly to demobilized soldiers, those who have resigned, and those receiving monthly support policies after being increased from July 01, 2019. Specifically:
- From 15 years to less than 16 years, the allowance is VND 1,891,000/month;
- From 16 years to less than 17 years, the allowance is VND 1,977,000/month;
- From 17 years to less than 18 years, the allowance is VND 2,064,000/month;
- From 18 years to less than 19 years, the allowance is VND 2,150,000/month;
- From 19 years to less than 20 years, the allowance is VND 2,235,000/month.
